Review

Once again Agatha Christie tells of a murder commited in close quarters and once again, we do have a bunch of possible suspects. Apparently, this is the formula she uses for her books, but, oh boy, she does deliver everytime and afterwards you question yourself if you would have come to the same conclusion (in my case: definitely not).
Fortunately I haven´t seen any Poirot movie so far, so I didn´t know anything about the story. Which comes in handy, because the revelation of the perpetrator is absolutely crazy, mindblowing and utterly brilliant. I kind of sat slack-jawed whilst reading the last pages of this book.
And kudos to Hercule Poirot. I absolutely adore his skills in deductive reasoning.
