Last week I went to the movies and watched Crimson Peak and I really liked it (even though it was predictable as hell). I kind of expected a gothic horror movie but in the end it was more of a gothic romance with some really beautiful cinematography and a breathtakingly beautiful scenery.
However, I didn´t learn an awful lot about the characters and their backgrounds so I´m expecting to get a little more knowledge about them through the written word in this movie novelization. I have never read a book which is based on a movie. Cross your fingers for me that this is going to be a good one.
