Some journalists have compared The Bone Season to the Harry Potter books. Well, I don´t think that these journalists have read either one of these books. This is definitely not like Harry Potter!
So far this novel is oddly fascinating, even though I´m at a total loss right now when it comes to the world building in this book, simply because Samantha Shannon doesn´t give an awful lot of explanations. I definitely hope that she at one point or another explains the concept of the different kind of clairevoyants, which for me is the most fascinating aspect of the story so far.
