I´m posting a few pictures of my paperback copy of The Invention of Nature, because there is a discussion whether or not the paperback edition differs from the hardback edition. I have the John Murray paparback with the ISBN 978-1-848-54900-5:

 

 

The book has (footnotes and index included) 473 pages. The fond is tiny and most of the illustrations are in black and white:

 

 

 

And there are some colored photos and maps in the middle of the book. I´m so sorry I couldn´t take a better picture. I have only two hands ;).

 

 

It´s not a floppy paperback, but the spine won´t break as soon as you upen to book either. It has the quality of a normal English paperback. The pages are not grey and not too thin and overall I do think the quality is okay for a paperback.
