Paul stopped pouring his second cup of coffee long enough to roll his eyes. "Oh, right. What are you, thirty?"

"Twenty-eight."

"Positively ancient," he said drily. "They´ll be fitting you for false teeth next, I guess."

 

This novel is the perfect palate cleanser after the Ripley read. There hasn´t been much of a plot so far, but I like the characters and the descriptions of the landscapes are gorgeous, just stunningly beautiful. Right now Chinon sounds like the most magical place on earth to me.
