'Salem's Lot - Stephen King

The structure of this book is odd. I think the main story ends at page 598. But I´ve got the illustrated version here and apparently there is some extra footage added to the actual story.

1. A short story, which takes place about three years after the events of the main plot and doesn´t add anything to the story.

2. An epistolary short story, which was wonderfully creepy but completely unnecessary as well.

3. Deleted scenes, which I won´t be reading because I simply don´t care.

So I guess I´m finished with this book and I have to say I´m leaving it with a feeling of dissatisfaction. I liked the main story, but the extra chapters / stories were a dud.
