I think this might work for the Thanksgiving book theme (people coming together to help a community or family in need). A group of people, living in Low Rising and High Rising, come together to prevent poor George Knox, famous writer and inhabitant of Low Rising, to get into the evil clutches of Miss Grey, his secretary, whose main objective is to secure a wedding band on her finger.
