Once again it is sunday and I´m sick with a cold. This leads to a day solely dedicated to books and reading and catching up on reviews. Well, almost. I going to Dagebüll in the morning to take a long walk at the Northern Sea. There is nothing better to treat a cold than a good whiff of sea breeze.

These are the books I´m planning to read today:

The Exorcist: 40th Anniversary Edition (Audio) - Eliana Shaskan,William Peter Blatty

I have only 1 hour and 40 minutes left in this audiobook and I will try to use it for the halloween bingo, I´m just not sure which square it´s going to be. The narration is top notch and I like this book everytime Regan a.k.a. the demon makes an appearance. The rest of it ... I have some issues with this book and it´s going to be a difficult book for me to rate and review.

Men at Arms (Discworld, #15) - Terry Pratchett

This is actually a re-read for me and the first time I have read Men At Arms, I gave it two stars. And I´m blaming the format I have read the book in for this rating.

Terry Pratchett´s books don´t work for me as an ebook and I´m even struggling to read the paperback versions of his books. Now I´m reading the (stunningly beautiful) naked hardback copys and it´s the first time I actually enjoying reading a Pratchett and I feel the need to come back for more. And at some point I want to check out the audiobook versions as well.

HEX - Nancy Forest-Flier,Thomas Olde Heuvelt

This is a buddy read with Char. I knew nothing about this book before reading the very first chapter, so I was a little bit puzzled by the freakingly weird premise of this book. Living in that town, I would constantly be freaked out. I wonder what Char is going to make of it.

Have a happy sunday everybody and I hope you are enjoying the books you are reading at the moment.
