So far is more or less the same plot as the second season of the Bosch television show, just a couple of side plots are different. Because of that it´s a little bit of a predictable read (it´s still enjoyable, though).
I hope that there are going to be some changes between the story of the book and the story of the show from here on out. I´ve got the impression that the screen writers have taken liberties with some other storylines of the Bosch books throughout the other seasons of the show. So I´m keeping my fingers crossed.
