As I have told Themis earlier in the day, the brother Cadfael novels have the perfect blend of history, mystery and romance and meeting up with brother Cadfael feels like meeting a good old friend.
This fourth book in the series is no exception and it´s a very, very close second to being my favorite book in the series so far (I still liked the second novel a little bit better). And I love how comforting these books are.
So if you haven´t picked up a Cadfael novel yet, I highly encourage everyone to do so.
