Methinks there aren´t any coincidences in this book ;).
Honestly, I shouldn´t enjoy this book as much as I do, considering the not so pleasant subject matter of

But I do, I really, really do. The tangents Dumas are going off on everyone now and then, but which ultimately turn out to be important for the overall plot further on in the narrative, are fantastic.
