Last weekend I read/listened to a drama by Shakespeare, this weekend its one of his comedies that I will be tackling.
I already listened to the first act of the play and the scene has been set:
Young Claudio is in love with Hero, but he is too shy to talk to her himself, so his friend has to do it for him (because the men in this story are apparently 12 years old). And said friend will pass the woman along to Claudio. Truly, this doesn´t sound like a good idea at all. I wonder how this will play out.
Meanwhile Beatrice and Benedick have a clash of words. He wants to remain single forever, she doesn´t want to marry either and they basically dislike each other. Or do they?
And there is the evil bastard brother thrown into the mix as well, who will cause some mayhem, me thinks.
And BT just joined in and we are doing an impromptu buddy read. Yeah :D
