
I may be the odd one out, but for me this was more of a comedy than a drama. Almost every character and their actions are so overexaggerated, it´s been actually quite a fun experience to read this play.
Of course, Antony and Cleopatra takes the cake in this one. Antony is as incompetent as all get out, Cleopatra had anger management issued and their relationsship is one of the "Oh, I love him/her, I hate him/her" kind (substitute the love for lust and you get a pretty clear picture of their relationsship).
And there were so many "I have a bad feeling about this" moments in this story, with Shakepeare not being afraid of borrowing ideas from his own plots:

I enjoyed the other two plays I have read more, but this wasn´t a bad play by any means. I´m actually very glad that I started exploring Shakespeare´s world. So far it´s been a very fun and rewarding experience.
