Passenger to Frankfurt - Agatha Christie

So, from my last update this even got worse and I don´t think I have even seen the worst of this book yet. Did Dame Agatha suffer from a bout of paranoia while writing this book or why would someone write ludicrous drivel such as this?

 

The fat woman in the castle, golden-haired supermen, Franz-Joseph (btw, where is his Sissy?)... I´m at a loss for words.
